Meeting of the Waters, Yoho National Park, Fields, BC

Driving up the Yoho Valley Road to visit the spectacular Takakkaw Falls, you pass a small turnout with a sign announcing the “Meeting of the Waters Confluent, alt. 1366”. Only few tourists stop here, because - except the sign - there is nothing to see. You have to climb down to the bottom of a steep ravine to finally get a view of the “meeting” of the Yoho and Kicking Horse River.
